This research conducted survey research targeting180public/private kindergartens in12municipality areas in Taipei City. It finds the current practice for children English teaching and the hiring/managing situation for English teachers, especially on native speaker teachers’hiring standard, management, salaries, and benefits. It aims to assist the government’s future planning for the management of kindergarten English teachers.
