| As the reform of preschool education continues to deepen,the construction of kindergarten teachers has become an important task for the development of preschool education.Building a team of teachers with good professional quality and ability,reasonable structure and relative stability is a fundamental plan for the reform and development of modern preschool education in China.However,at present,early childhood teachers are faced with heavy workloads,long average daily working hours,and teachers are tired of coping with their work,and the overload restricts teachers’ professional development and increases the risk of teacher turnover,which is not conducive to the construction of a high-quality kindergarten teacher team in the new era.In this study,we investigated the workload situation and feelings of kindergarten teachers in X city,H province,using questionnaires,observation methods and interviews,and found that the current working hours of kindergarten teachers in X city far exceed the legal hours,long working hours and heavy workload;the overall workload level of kindergarten teachers is heavy,and most kindergarten teachers have negative attitudes toward workload and believe that the current The overall workload level of early childhood teachers is high,and most of them have negative attitudes toward workload and believe that the current workload is too heavy and will increase in the future;the work stress level of early childhood teachers is in the middle to upper level.According to the resource conservation theory,the theoretical basis was established by analyzing the mechanism of workload on teacher team building,and it was found that workload has the following three effects on kindergarten teacher team building: affecting the structural balance of the teacher team,hindering the improvement of teachers’ professional development level,and weakening the stability of teacher team building.Therefore,this study proposes the following countermeasures: on the government side,it is necessary to increase financial investment to improve teachers’ treatment;improve the management mechanism of teachers’ load to clarify teachers’ workload;and optimize the career promotion system to stimulate teachers’ development awareness.On the social side,we need to enhance the professional prestige of early childhood teachers by increasing social publicity;and change parents’ perceptions to improve the professional awareness of early childhood teachers.At the kindergarten level,we need to improve the incentive mechanism,further implement teachers’ salary and benefits;optimize the workflow and reasonably assign work tasks;improve the training mechanism to enhance teachers’ professionalism;and pay attention to teachers’ psychological health,so that teachers themselves can learn self-regulation and self-development awareness on the basis of external humanistic care to stimulate their internal motivation.We will work together from multiple dimensions in order to promote the construction of a high-quality early childhood teaching force in the new era. |
