Ideological and political education is the core of the comprehensive qualityeducation college, the political theory course in higher vocational colleges (referredto as the "political education courses") is the main channel for the ideological andpolitical education of college students. But political education courses in highervocational colleges at present there are still some phenomenon such as absent fromthe students’ practical, tedious sermon, the ideological and political educationalreform on different major in higher vocational colleges is analyzed in this paper.First, this paper expounds the related concepts and general theory in view of thedifferent major students in accordance with their aptitude. Second, through thequestionnaire investigation, interview method, the paper analyzes the current status ofthe political education courses in higher vocational colleges, and explores therelationship between the different acquaintance to political education courses,different teaching content and procedure and teaching students in accordance withtheir aptitude; There are some problems on study interest in political educationcourses in higher vocational colleges, teaching effects, the realization of talentstraining goal by analyzing ignorance of students’ major difference. Third, it putsforward three reforms suggestions according to the general experience of teachingstudents in accordance with their aptitude for different major students and thecomparison and analysis of political education courses curriculum system, teachingprocess and the teaching staff in vocational colleges, etc.(1) In the course system,course construction pays attention to the pertinence and effectiveness, teaching theorycontent reflects professional feature, practice teaching content docking professionalpractice;(2) In teaching process, we should understand different professional students,design feasible teaching scheme and choose appropriate teaching method, dohomework and performance evaluation;(3) In teacher staff construction, we shouldmake teachers training plan, adjust the teacher knowledge structure, strengthen theirown study, strengthen the integration with professional knowledge, focus on theirpolitical, economic status and improve their professional identity in order to build a"expert" political education courses teachers team.Case analysis is one of the features of this paper. This paper based on my actualwork, it has done discussion, questionnaire investigation and interview in** vocational technology college to provides empirical material for the basic idea ofpaper.
