The Research Of Self-confidence Of Excellent Figure Skating Pairs In China

In recent years, ice events have achieved great breakthroughs. Many excellent athletesboarded the world’s highest podium.In2010Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, Chinesefigure skating athletes Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo won the gold medal and achieved thebreakthrough of gold medals. And Pang Qing and Tong Jian, Zhang Dan and Zhang Haowon the silver medal and the fifth.This fully demonstrated the team strength and thedominant position of double figure skating in the world pattern.The great success ofdouble figure skating athletes achieved not only depends on their super technical skillsbut also their firm belief and strong confident psychology to win the game.For figureskating, athletes’ confidence has play an important role on their completion of techniqueperformance and perfect artistic expression.This paper selected the excellent figure skating athletes as the research topic, andstudied the level of self-confidence of the athletes using the methods of literature,investigation and mathematical statistical. The overall situation of the excellent doublefigure skaters’ score of the confidence was unbalanced, in which the scores ofself-confidence of double figure athletes Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo, Pang Qing andTong Jian; Zhang Dan and Zhang Hao were higher. Through the further comparativeanalysis the study shows: The level of confidence of chinese excellent figure skaters withdifferent genders does not have significant differences, but the level of confidence ofchinese excellent double figure skaters with different sports levels and different trainingtime has significant differences. The level of confidence of chinese excellent figureskaters of different events(single\pairs\ice dance) does not have significant differences.And also, the paper analyzed the factors of affecting the excellent double figure skatingathletes’ confidence and proposed the strategies of how to cultivate the confidence offigure skaters in order to provide some guidance and theoretical value for the theenhancement of the athletes’ psychological ability and athletic ability.
