Rural school, as a regional culture center, is an important carrier in the new countryside culture construction. According to our rural school’s foundation and development from the beginning of the last century, our rural schools undertook the historical mission and social value to achieve rural reform and formed the tradition of daring to be responsible. Rural school-based curriculum development is an important way to shoulder the social responsibility. Rural school can filter curriculum resources from the local village, compile school-based curriculum, design school-based exercise with clear goals, carry out special activities, improve the teachers and students’ understanding of the world of rural life, when improving their knowledge and skills about rural life, it also arouse their passion about this place.This study bases on the perspective of the new rural development, in order to survey and analyse the current rural development of school-based curriculum, find out the value bias and influences, analyse the reasons, and put forward the value of the rural school-based curriculum development, to promote the construction of the rural society, the professional development of teachers, character development of the students, and the curriculum itself optimization.This research first use literature analysis, comparison method to clarify the current development of school-based curriculum in rural areas. Based on the first step, we try to know the cultural construction of countryside and the current situation of school-based curriculum’s development by fact finding and analyse the reasons from the point of view of cultural value. At the end of the study, we use system theory to connect the rural school-based curriculum and the rural social environment. With the construction of the new countryside culture, the special development of the rural school, the improvement of the school-based curriculum itself, the professional development of rural students. The character development of the village students, it can finally realize the value of the development of school-based curriculum.Based on the above ideas, the paper consists of the following six parts:The first part is an introduction. It describes the research background, significance, literature review, definition of key concepts, methods and specific research content.The second part is the value cognition of development of rural school-based curriculum. To survey and interview elementary and secondary schools in rural areas in Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Shaoxing and Jinhua, we explain the value bias about the school-based curriculum in rural area among students, teachers and school managers.The third part is the influence of the value lost in rural school-based curriculum. We analyze the influence of value lost in development of school-based curriculum from the following points:against the sustainable development of the rural society, against the comprehensive functions of schools to play, against the healthy growth of the village children and against the connotation of school-based curriculum development, etc.The fourth part is the analysis the reasons of value lost in rural school-based curriculum development. From the mainstream of the society value, schools, teachers and students, we analyse the value lost in rural school-based curriculum development and achieve a conclusion.The fifth part, the pursuits of value in rural school-based curriculum development. This paper puts forward the related suggestions in the following:based on new countryside culture construction, guide and support from education department, the school education characteristic construction, the improvement of the rural school-based curriculum itself, the realization of teachers’professional development and the achievement of students personality development. Part VI is a summary and prospects:summarizes the work done and proposes the study that has not yet resolved, and looks forward to the value realization in rural school-based curriculum development.Through literature analysis and field survey, I think this study not only clarificates the current situation and the problems of rural school-based curriculum development, but also analyses the value lost and influence of the rural school-based curriculum development and puts forward the methods of value realization. Through the study, we will continue to deepen rural school-based curriculum development, and let the rural schools play a leading role when the local flavor is disappearing today. In the constant perspicuity of the school idea, rural schools should develop the course that adapt to the local society together in order to train village students’ love to their home and the responsibility to serve the rural society.
