With the development of the society and the economic, the highereducation in China has stepped into the popularization-period. Because of thereducing requirement of college and the increasing amount of students,freshmen have not been adaptive after entering school. Meanwhile, manyproblems have became more and more protuberant, for example, they can’tlearn independently, and don’t have development goals, and they don’t havethe role consciousness as college men and so on. Many experts, academiciansand even some people with breadth of vision have incessant research on thetopic of how to solve these problems. Through the research, we find that theentrancing education for freshmen is helpful for the smooth transition of thestudents from high school to college, and fulfill the role change as soon aspossible. Due to the above reasons, we carry out an in-depth study on theentrancing education for freshmen in college. The result of survey researchshows that action and fettle of many university men are not desired. Based onthe survey research of the effect of the entrancing education for the freshmen,we find that most universities have carried out the entrancing educationactivity for freshmen, but the effects are disappointing, they hardly reach theexpected goal. Through the process of study, we can elaborate the rationalityand insufficient of our country’s freshmen entrancing education by applyingthe theory of the Jean Piaget’s Constructivism. Meanwhile with the theory wealso find the ripe experiences which can be used for reference of the externalfreshmen entrancing education compatible for our country’s situation.According to the above theoretical basis, we design the questionnaire andconduct the questionnaires’ granting and recovering the questionnaires. Theresults shows as follows(1)the model of the entrancing education forfreshmen of our country doesn’t develop with the change of the amount of thestudents and their requirements.(2)presently, there are three reasons for theentrancing education not reach the expected goal: firstly, the students can’tdistinguish the differences between the high school and college. Secondly,that is the contradiction between the deficiency in the investment of the resources and the teachers and the change of the increasing amount of thestudents. Lastly, the deficiency and insufficiency of the model of theentrancing education for freshmen are that there are only activities, but nospecialized courses. In the light of the result of the fact research, the study onthe pertinent theories, drawing lessons from the ripe experience of theexternal entrancing education model, according to the present situation ofchina and the internal typical and successful case, we propose somecorresponding advices and suggestions.
