Chemical homework, which is an important component of chemistry teaching, is a complement and extension of the chemistry classroom teaching. It is not only an important link of the completion of the teaching objectives, but also a significant means and methods for the teachers to check and understand the teaching effectiveness. Homework suitable for students not only can be able to consolidate, reserve and rich of their knowledge, but also can develop their intelligence and creative thinking, which is conducive to their academic development. This study is based on the concept of "school-based". The author sorted out and analyzed the current situation of chemical homework design in high school chemistry teaching and the influence on teaching. The study found that there is serious examination-oriented education "utilitarian" value orientation on the design values in the current high school chemical homework. Driven by this "utilitarian" value orientation, there are some drawbacks such as the lack of targeted and layered, mechanical and closed, type drab and large amount of low quality. It seriously affected not only teaching quality, but also the development of students’ chemical studies. Therefore, focused on the drawbacks of the current chemical homework design, the author highlights "subjective principle, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and step-by-step" design concept, which is based on the concept of school-based. Besides, the author analyzes the features of the Chemical School-based homework. Meanwhile, the author carried on the empirical research in the manner of homework tracking and unit test in one semester, and then analyzed the experimental data and the survey result through statistical methods. Lastly, the author found that the school-based homework has played a positive role in pushing forward the students’ academic development.Based on the subjective principle design, School-based homework is conducive for the students to do homework with purpose, interest and thinks, at the same time, enhance the initiative of students to complete homework. Therefore, it can complement as well as extend classroom instruction effectively, and has played a positive role in improving the teaching effect and reaching the teaching goal.Based on the teaching students in accordance with their aptitude design. School-based homework is conducive for the students with different learning abilities to find their own footholds. It can improve the enthusiasm and initiative of chemical study, and has played a positive role in promoting students to reserve, enrich and consolidate the chemical knowledge and learning self-confidence gradually.Based on a step-by-step design, School-based homework is not only beneficial for the students in the process of the chemical knowledge learning to form the knowledge networks of point, line, surface structure, but also can help students form the integrity, divergent and conversion thinking gradually.Chemical School-based homework, which is designed based on the above three principles,not only can promote the development of students’ chemical academic career, but also plays an important supporting role in implementing the new curriculum reform.
