Objective:Along with the people living standard and the improvement of medical treatment level, structure of population aging has become a global social problem. With the older age increases, the function of various organs, systems in older people have became fall off different level, especially the balance capacity decreased, leading to fall risk occurs gradually increased. The social costs caused by older people fall are increasing. Now it has gradually become the social issues of common concern. this paper study the biomechanical characteristics when the long time Tai Chi group and common old people crossing the different height of obstacles, looking for easy to lead to the risk factors of falls in elderly people, for the prevention of elderly patients falls during crossing obstacle, to provides effective measures, in order to improve the health and quality of life of elderly. Methods:Take the city of Beijing Xi san qi community twelve long time Tai Chi exercise elderly women as the experimental group, select Shang di East18normal elderly women as control group, all subjects have not walking functional disease, physical health. Before testing complete the informed consent, first basic quality testing, then subjects were walking on the flat ground and three height (10cm,15cm,20cm) obstacle four kinds of actions, and then use the KISTER force platform and plantar pressure plate test system to test the Dynamic characteristics when walking across obstacles, Then using3D camera test Kinematic indicators change when walking across obstacles. Finally, all indicators for two-factor analysis of variance, Find out the influence of the height factor and training factor for the elderly across different height obstacles on biomechanical characteristics.Results:1Across different height obstacles, tai chi exercise group compared with the control group:stride cycle is short, pace, stride frequency, single-support phase much double support phase less, the hip, knee and ankle joint range of motion is larger. As height increased, the stride cycle, and gradually become larger stride, step frequency, walking speed decreased; double support phase and decreases the total stance phase, single-support phase and swing phase gradually increased, hip knee-joint range of motion is also increasing.2Across different height obstacles, tai chi exercise group the range of the center of gravity forward, up and down, forward, up and down direction of the maximum rate is greater than the control group; tai chi exercise group leader foot in the heel touch the ground with the toes off the ground following the before and after the COM-COP distance, focus speed is greater than the control group. As the height increases, the center of gravity around, up and down the range, forward. left, up and down the maximum speed are gradually increased.3Across different height obstacles, tai chi exercise group and across from the landing foot clear greater than in the control group;with the increase in height, landing feet away, across the clear height, follow the clear height, step length and other indicators across are gradually increased.4Across the different height obstacles, tai chi exercise group in the first and second peak force bigger than the control group, the trough value is less than the control group, the stage of kicking the ground and in the stretch phase tai chi exercise group greater than the average rate of force change of control group; increase with height, the first and second peak force gradually increased, the trough value decreases, the buffer stage, the average rate of change of power also increases.5Tai Chi exercise group at the maximum braking force and the maximum brake pedal force and impulse stretch and stretch kicking impulse parameters are greater than the control group. With the height increase, the maximum braking force, braking force impulse stretch and kicking, stretch impulse gradually increased.Concluion:1Tai Chi training can reduce the blood pressure in elderly people, improved older adults response ability, improve elderly single foot standing capacity, slowing down the lower limb muscle strength decline.2when acrossing obstacle, tai chi group of older single foot standing time is longer, double support is less than ordinary group, the experimental group in the braking ability and pedal capabilities are greater than that of the control group. Tai chi exercise can provide the elderly across obstacle capability. 3Tai chi exercise can delay of elderly patients with lower limb muscle strength loss, improve the elderly people’s balance ability, can effectively prevent the occurrence of falls.therefore, Tai Chi exercise should be promoted among the elderly, to improve the old person’s balance, prevention of elderly falls, and to improve the health level of old people.
