Comparison And Analysis Of Characteristics Of Techniques And Tactics Of Outstanding Pen-holder Grip Players Ma Lin,Wang Hao And Xu Xin

By watching the game video of Ma Lin, Wang Hao and Xu Xin from2008to2011, the author summarizes and analyzes the serve round, receive and serve round, sustained rally of these three paddlers respectively, aiming to make a comparative analysis of the game tactics used by them, under the assistance of the literature method, observation method, mathematical statistic method, logical analysis method and comparative ma Lysis method. Based on the previous studies, this thesis aims to summarize the commonness and regular features of the open-hold grip service, in the meanwhile, provide some scientific ground and reference to maintain and further improve the Sandwich Rubber with Pen hold Grip Type tactics. The results of the study are summarized as follows:1.Ma Lin’s performance in serve and grab phase is in a good state in regards of the scoring rate, and the utilization ratio ranks the normal level, too. Besides, his performance in receive and service phase is excellent in regards of the scoring rate, and the utilization ratio ranks highly above the normal level. The scoring rate in stalemate period is disqualified. The utilization ratio is inferior to the normal level. Ma Lin’s service line is of relatively average. The utilization ratio of these three lines are of no big difference. The landing point of Ma Lin’s serving gives the first place to net service, and supplemented by half table landing. Sometimes, a close net or semi-table long shot work wel. The utilization ratio of pivot shot in service and grab shot round ranks the highest and the scoring rate is of no bad. The scoring rate of backhand attack is in general, but the utilization ratio is relatively low. The utilization rate of split long and drop shot are both relatively good. Ma Lin’drop shot technique is excellent in serving round. He performs well in catching on and semi-table servicing. His twist over the table also has good effect. He relies highly on the sideway pull ball to gain score in receiving and serving phase. The success ratio is not very high in backhand serving. The stalemate is not in good state and is obvious passive both in forehand and backhand service, only the sideway stalemate is a little bit better. 2. Wang Hao has excellent performance in servicing and grabbing phase, but the utilization ratio is under the average level. The scoring rate in receiving and servicing phase is excellent, while, the utilization ratio is above the average level. Wang Hao normally takes the forehand service, and the landing points are mostly close to the net,. The utilization and scoring rate are good both in servicing and grabbing phase. Compared with the backhand, the forehand and sideway are normally higher in scoring rate, but lower in utilization rate. Wang usually gets high score in forehand pull and twist-in-table. His missed service usually.akes place in drop shot and split long. His attack after service mainly adopts forehand and backhand seivice, with backhand service scores better than forehand service. However, his ability in stalemate is weak, with the scoring rate of backhand ranking as the lowest.3. As for Xu Xin, his scoring rate in servicing and grabbing phase is fine. His utilization ratio is above the average level. His scoring rate in receiving and servicing phase is excellent, and the utilization rate is highly above the average level. The scoring rate in stalemate phase is excellent, too. The utilization ratio is on the normal level. Xu Xin mainly follows the forehand serve line, with the middle line serving as the second choice. Besides, the landing points are mostly close to the net. His sideway utilization rate and success rate are of no big difference in serving and grabbing round, with relatively higher sideway utilization rate and forehand pulling success rate. In receiving and serving round, Xu Xin frequently uses and almost gets high score in forehand drive. His usage of drop shot also has good effect. He usually gets high score in his performance of sideway catching after receiving. Xu Xin gets good effect in the usage of forehand and sideway serves in stalemate round, but fails many times in backhand stalemate.
