Within the process of China’s sport system transition and through8years’ development, as the domestic brand sporting event, China Open plays an important role in establishing Beijing’s city identity and promoting China’s competitive sports. However, which gradually becomes under Market-oriented operation more. As the developing of China’s sports events, the importance of ticketing operation management has been valued more and more by people. Nevertheless, the relevant research is not common, what’s more, the relevant empirical studies is very rare. Therefore, there is more significant meaning both in theory and practical on China Open’s ticketing operation management.This dissertation is from the angle of ticket center of China Open, based on relevant theory involving economics and management, using different study methods just as literature and data study, empirical analysis, normative research method, case study etc., reviewing and comparing the history of ticket management, deeply and comprehensively introduce and summarize the ticket operation of China Open in2011.Through the introduction involves in this game, the operating company and the ticket center, this dissertation summarizes the core competitiveness of athletes and game managements. Based on the overview of structure and labor position, timing and workflow, workload and service of China Open, this thesis summarized the key problem of ticket operation management and gave the author’s opinion and advices. This paper has made some conclusion:the monopoly and disorder of macro-marketing environment, the proportion of complimentary ticket and regular ticket, major elements on formulation of ticket budget, price and category, ticket distribution channel, the way of stimulation of ticket sale, the evaluation of performance and program etc.
