Ideological And Political Education Of College Students Volunteer Service Function And Its Realization Ways

College students are in the period with changing international situation and domestic social change. Their ideas in the mainstream are positive and upward. In recent years, the change of value and ethos in the western world as well as that of the domestic situation give great impact to the ideal and belief Value orientation, moral consciousness of college student. It has also brought huge challenge to Ideological and Political Education of College Students. So strengthen and improve Ideological and Political Education of College Students become an important and urgent strategic task.Voluntary service is a social activity of high loftiness. In recent years it pays more attention to poverty alleviation and development, large-scale public welfare activities, environmental protection, emergency rescue and disaster relief. We can see voluntary services develop very well. The youthful student volunteers are the main force of volunteer team. The majorities of student volunteers actively participate in all kinds of social voluntary service and promote many traditional Chinese virtues. Voluntary service purifies the heart of students and plays an important role in Ideological and Political Education of College. Compared to other traditional Chinese education, this way is more suitable for college students because this way respect students’status.For one word, Voluntary service shows obvious character and advantage.This thesis is divided into five parts, including the introduction of volunteer service, the overview of student volunteer service, the status and role of the student volunteer service in the Ideological and Political Education, student volunteer service’s function of Ideological and Political Education, the way to realize the function. The article focuses on the third, fourth, and five parts. The first two parts in the article is to analyze the concept, features, content and status quo of the Chinese college students’voluntary service. On the basis of the first two parts’study, the third part explores the status and role of the student volunteer service. The fourth part analyzes student volunteer service’s function one by one. We know that in China college students volunteer started lately. So there are some problems exist during the development of China college students volunteer. They retrain the full realization of the four functions of college students in volunteer activities. So the fifth part proposes a number of initiatives to achieve the ideological and political education function. Firstly universities should pay more attention to the management of volunteer activities. The second is to perfect the system of material security, the security system of the legal system as well as incentives, through the improvement of the system to promote student volunteer service carried out smoothly.The final one is to promote the work of volunteer service by project, brand and base. A variety of forces form a joint force, make volunteer service develop healthily. I hope we can effectively solve the problems in college students volunteer activities through these measures, making it develop healthily.Chinese college students are the future of our country.Carrying out college volunteer service can make students achieve self-education, raise their political consciousness. It also can exercise students’ability of adapting to the society. This article make a number of measures intended to solve the problems in the volunteer activities. So that the volunteer activities can develop smoothly, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the ideological and political education works.
