Study On The Problem Of Social Work And Reintegrating Released Prisoners Social Integration

To help the reintegrating released prisoners realize social integration is not only the important content of comprehensive control of public security, but also the important measure of maintaining social stability. As one of the important methods of social services, the social work’s value concept and professional method can play an important role in solving the problems of society and resolving social contradictions and maintaining social stability. So, researching the problem of social work and reintegrating released prisoners social integration, not only has the important theoretical value, but also has very important practical significance.This research is based on the perspective of structure and function theory and social work system theory, apply the qualitative research method by sociology, interview belonging to different communities of Changsha city of the eight reintegrating released prisoners. Through sorting interview material, this research analyze the current situation of reintegrating released prisoners social integration, explore the deep reasons to reintegrating released prisoners social integration in difficult, reveal the Social work influence on the reintegrating released prisoners social integration. Based on this, this research try to construct a set of countermeasures scheme about social work in reintegrating released prisoners social integration.The results of this study indicate that:as the reintegrating released prisoners, their identity into problems embodied as self cognitive performance edge and don’t adapt to the new integration environment and social belonging low, professional into problems embodied as employment difficulty and performance income low and hard to gain the unit trust, family into problems embodied as can’t face family and family hard to accept them and difficult to build new family, social contacts into problems embodied as the single social interaction and strong sense of social exclusion and the low degree of social participation.The main reasons why the reintegrating released prisoners faced with a series of difficulties come from society and individual. Social causes including legal system limit, social discrimination and the follow-up education measure is not perfect. Personal reasons including psychological barriers and lack of human capital and social capital.It needs government, society and all kinds of organizations participated in jointly. As an important means of resolving social contradictions, a powerful lever of realizing the vulnerable groups of protection of the rights, an important way of innovating social services, the social work should become an important channel to promoting social integration of the reintegrating released prisoners.
