Construction Of Science And Engineering Campus Culture In The Vision Of Ideological And Political Education

Colleges and universities are cradles to cultivate talent and qualifiedpositions to develop qualified builders and successors of socialism. Campusculture as a sub-cultural form is an important part of socialist advancedculture form. It reflects the spirit of all students reflects their ideals and thepursuit of academic, is the spirit of the explicit of colleges and universities.Campus culture is an effective vehicle and new way for ideological andpolitical education. It can help majority of students to enhance theattractiveness of the ideological and political education and penetration, moreeasily to be accepted and to solve the issues in ideological and politicaleducation. Meanwhile, the university campus culture has a very high implicitvalue in the ideological and political education; students can act as a “silent"role.Science and technology university students have a realistic andpragmatic attitude, attend to rational and scientific spirit, but ignore theexpense of students in the humanities and humanistic spirit of the culture andeducation, resulting in the construction of science and technology campusculture many deficiencies and shortcomings. These deficiencies andshortcomings restrict the sustainable development of science and technologyuniversities; these are not conducive to academic science and technologyinnovation, not conducive to the science and technology overall developmentof science and not conducive to the science and technology improvement ofcompetitiveness. So, giving full use of the ideologicaland political education, strengthening the construction of campus culture ofscience and technology is urgency and importance.This paper discuss from the four main sections to describe the construction of science and technology campus culture in the vision ofIdeological and political education. ChapterⅠdepends on the theoreticalconcepts of culture to describe. Chapter II depends on the characteristics ofscience and technology science to describe the construction of campus culture.The chapter Ⅲcombines the theory and practice, and uses the empiricalresearch methods survey questionnaires, to analyze the status of theconstruction of campus culture in science and technology, identify problems,and find out the reasons.
