Research On Commercial Education In Modern Tianjin

Modern Tianjin was the largest commodity trade center in north China. The development of commercial education was very important. The study of commercial education in modern Tianjin has important practical significance. Through collecting the existing documents, I analysis the commercial education in modern Tianjin from background, developing progress, the situation of commercial schools, the experience and the lesson of the development, the revelation. This thesis includes five parts.In the introduction, I mainly discuss the reasons of choosing the topic and researching situation in commercial education.By analyzing the literature, I find that few researchers discuss the commercial education in modern Tianjin. So this topic need to be explored.In the first chapter, I narrative the historical background of the commercial education founding in modern Tianjin. I describe it from two aspects which are the social situation in China after the Opium War and the social situation in Tianjin after the opening.In the second chapter, I discuss the developing progress of the commercial education in modern Tianjin. According to the collecting material, I divide the commercial education in modern Tianjin into five periods that are embryonic period, initial development period, rapid development period, difficult to maintain period, recovery and development period.In the three chapter, I focus on the situation of the commercial schools in modern Tianjin. I analyzed the administration and the teaching management of the commercial schools. The administration includes sources of funding, institutional settings, faculty appointment and employment of graduate. The teaching management includes curriculum and evaluation.In the conclusion, I discuss the experience and the lesson of the commercial education development in modern Tianjin and the revelation to today’s commercial education.
