Learning is necessary means for people to adapt to society, work and life in the knowledge economy age,and people comprehension of learning are constantly changing. The concept of lifelong learning is promoting in the global wide, and the informal learning which widely exist in people’s lives has received gradually attention as a kind of important form lifelong learning. Many countries and organizations are fully realized the characteristics and the utility of informal learning, and hopes to use informal learning to improve the situation and enhance competitiveness. Along with the development of the informal learning research, the researchers start to paid more and more attention to the group of college students’informal learning. The purpose of this study is to know the information of the college students’ informal learning, and also try to integrate the college students’informal learning into the universities teaching, so as to guide and support their informal learning better, and to improve college students’learning effects and the collage teaching effect.This paper expounds the main concepts, introduce the research background, significance, objective and research methods. Then introduce the related concepts and theoretical basis of the informal learning, including development and defined of the concept, the related theory foundation of informal learning wihic covers cognition theory, constructivism and knowledge management. Then the researcher summarizes the current research status of both at home and abroad about informal learning.Secondly, this paper combines qualitative and quantitative research methods to explore the college students’present application situation of informal learning and its influence factors. The researcher reference the existing research conclusion and research tools, develop the semi-structured interview outline of the college students’informal learning, with the example of the ZheJiang Normal University’s students, using some qualitative method like interview method and content analysis to form a preliminary conclusion about the college students’informal learning application situation which including informal learning theme, form and the situation, etc.The researcher try to study conclusions of the previous stage from the quantitative angle in the base of interview and investigation, establishing the questionnaire of college students’informal learning influencing factors, and analyze and explore the factors which affect the university students’informal learning through the data analysis and early conclusion, And try to explain the influence degree and relations of these factors, then researchers verify and compare the results of quantitative research and the before stage interview, eventually formed the related conclusions about college students’ informal learning.After this, this paper introduces empirical research of integration strategy of the informal learning in college teaching. The study design some strategies which based on the preliminary results, Select two courses which are’Learning Resources Design and Development’and’Education Technology Professional English’of ZheJiang Normal University, through three aspects which are teaching organization, resources construction and learning support to integrate informal learning with teaching, and try to use the micro-blog as informal learning main communication platform to support and guide students to the college students’informal learning.Finally this paper summarized the highlight and shortcoming of the whole study and the subsequent research is also discussed.
