Study On The Ecological Civilization Education Of College Students

Ecological crisis has been a global problem nowadays, and has become a huge threat to the living and development of human beings. On the reflection of the crisis, people have done deeper thinking. The concept of "Ecological Civilization" becomes the concept of the age. People are facing a new type of the civilization, and we call it "Age of Ecological Civilization" which is the future of human civilization. This conception advocates that human being is not the host or the slave of the nature but the friend. They should co-exist harmoniously, share weal and woe.In the process of China’s modernization, environmental problems are becoming more and more serious. At such situation, universities, as the main bases for fostering the future talented, should follow the need of the age and take the priority on the Education on Ecological Civilization in the Ideal and Political Education. Therefore, this thesis discusses from three aspects the education on ecological civilization, and finally introduces the specific methods of realizing such education.First part states the significance of ecological education in the Ideal and Political Education. It emphasizes the necessity on the education on the basis of defining ecological, the construction of it, and ecological civilization education. Second part has analyzed the current situation of ecological civilization education in ideal and political education in universities from four different aspects and showed the reasons.Third part has put forward the methods of how to realize the ecological civilization education.Through the analysis, the author hopes that ecological civilization education in universities can further reflects the main function of the ideal and political education. Meanwhile, with the unique function of campus culture, we could improve and strengthen ecological civilization education. It is a long and complex work to carry on the ecological civilization education in universities. And it needs all the people in the universities, even every single person in the society the government, enterprises. May we all unite each other and work together to foster the ecological university students needed by the age, and construct the ecological civilization education in universities.
