However, as they retired, there are no excellentplayers which can fix the bug, results continue to decline: The Hunan athletic tennisdelegation only got the fourth and eighth in the women’s singles, seventh in women’sdoubles during the Ninth National Games, and sixth in the Tenth National Games.Even without a chance into the quarter-finals in the Eleventh National Games.In this paper In order to support competitive tennis teenagers for Hunan goal, wesystematically analyzed the present development situation of the Hunan youth tennisby using the method of literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, interviews,logical analysis and so on. As to discover the main problem which restrict thedevelopment of the Hunan junior tennis and provide some valuable countermeasuresand suggestions.The results of the study show that there are many problem exist, which list asfollows obsolete management system, old-fashioned concept, and the lack of long-termdevelopment planning; athlete selection mechanism is not perfect, which result in theunreasonable of the athlete; sex and age structure is not reasonable; lacking of fundsand training ground and the pay of the coaches is quite low; the competition system isnot perfect, lacking the experience of holding the international junior tennis games andthe province levels; The coaches are not quite professional and seldom bare thescientific research consciousness. Also there is fewer job training opportunities. Thetraining work cannot match the international tennis development trends and so on.In accordance with the above problems, we put forward the followingcountermeasures in order to walk out of trough, According to its actual situation,therefore, This Thesis Puts Forward: We need to reform the management system and training system of the junior tennis, and formulate long-term development planning;Introducing necessary instruments to the selection work, strengthening thecooperation of the University and sports research college, and establishing scientificselection mechanism; striving for policy support of the government to solve thefinancial difficulty, at the same time encouraging social enterprises to focus on tennis;Reforming the competition mechanism, perfecting the safeguard system, and providingmore opportunity for the adolescent tennis athletes; Lay stress on coaches trainingmethods, and guide the coaches to make scientific study on the actual trainingproblems and pay more attention to the scientific research.
