More and more Floating Adolescents into the city with their parents, their education inthe city became the focus of attention, and this research their focuses on self-expectationsfor educational level.Firstly, reviewing literature was to understand the level and influencing factors offloating adolescents’ self-expectations for educational level. Then, according to thisconclusion, this study’s variables and hypothesis were determined. The samples and datasof this study came from floating adolescents and their parents who participated in theMentoring Program. In the end, the conclusions were drawn by using SPSS software fordescriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis. Accordingly, putsforward the corresponding recommendations.The study found that parental and self-perceived parental expectations for educationallevel were higher than self-expectations for educational level, and about half ofadolescents think that parents’ educational expectations were too high to achieve. The studysuggested that some affective factors of self-and parents were significant differences,including youth after-school learning time, self-thinking of the realized degree of parentalexpectations and self-perception parental expectations for educational level.The study alsosuggested that some factors were not significant, including adolescents’ years of enteringinto Beijing, sex, age, esteem, parental education level and the average monthly householdincome. Parental, self-and perceived parental expectations and self-thinking of the realizeddegree of parental expectations for educational level were intacted with eath other invarying degrees. The gaps between the above variables and self-Expectations forEducational level had involved. The self-thinking of the realized degree of parentalexpectations for educational level had also involved.This study suggested that help the teenagers with the advantage of perspective, andenhance their Intergenerational Solidarity, and reduce their deviant behaviors. In addition,this study‘s main limitations were not big enough sample size and data, the absence of bothqualitative and quantitative research.
