With the influence of a variety of foreign cultures and ideas, as well as the development of China’s socialist market economy, the field of people’s thinking has undergone tremendous changes, which also poses a severe challenge to China’s ideological and political education. The ideological and political education of college students return to the living world, is one of the development trend of the Ideological and political education of college students seeking an inevitable requirement for comprehensive development, but also conducive to enhancing the effectiveness of the ideological and political education. This paper attempts to find out organic meeting point from this theory, to summarize the law in the ideological and political education, to explore the ideological and political education of college students return to the base path of the life of the world. This study is necessary to deeply understand and grasp the connotation of the living world, to take effective path to the ideological and political education of college students and their actual life organically linked, in order to achieve the reunification of the ideological and political education to the world of life, strengthen ideological and political the effectiveness of education.This paper used the way of a comparative analysis and literature research to demonstrated ideological and political education which return to the world of life.It mainly consists of four parts:the first part of the macro to clarify the relationship between the living world and the ideological and political education, from the theory of the living world referred to the ideological and political education of college students return to the intellectual history of the life world of resources and the necessity of ideological and political education of college students return to the living world expositions, and laid a logical starting point of this article. The second part of a detailed analysis of the manifestations and causes of the current ideological and political education alienated the world of life, provided sufficient arguments for this study. On the basis of the second part, the paper summarizes the characteristics and principles, namely, the third part of the paper. The fourth part discusses the basic path of ideological and political education of college students to return to the living world, built the world to return to life as the idea of education, improve ideological and political education content, innovative ways and means of ideological and political education and the reform of educational evaluation mode of strategy.
