Over the years, Chinese teaching has aimed at a single link to cognitive training, that is to lead students’ study to the limitation of the book knowledge absorption and standardization application, and the lack of attention to the emotional factors as a result. The intellectual teaching mode which separates cognition and emotion not only cannot meet the basic law of education and the humanities requirements of the language course, but also cannot meet the law of people’s physical and mental health growth.Cognition and emotion can be supplementary to each other; emotion is the motivation and source of cognition and at the same time, cognition is the orientation and expression of emotion. So affective process depends on cognition and cognition formation and development needs stimulation and motivation from emotion as well.Objectively speaking, cognition can improve students’ intelligence and technical capability, but emotion has an effect on students’ physical and mental health. Healthy emotion can help form wisdom of life and broaden the cognition horizon and promote their cognitive realm as well. As for Chinese curriculum, only cognitive teaching and knowledge learning easily lead to knowledge installation teaching mode and mechanical knowledge memory learning mode. But the aim of Chinese teaching is not only to teach students how to use language and Chinese, but also via Chinese learning to guide them to understand how to be a man, to love wisdom, to pursuebeauty and to be grateful for nature, society and others. In Chinese teaching, the most important things teachers should give to students are not knowledge in books, simple concepts or theories but great emotions like sincerity, care, aesthetics, gratitude, fear, love and equality. And all those virtues are what teachers can teach their students to give them sustainable knowledge and ultimate capabilities for being a man."Form healthy and good feelings" is written into the basic idea by High School Chinese New Curriculum Standards, it’s visible to see that the importance of emotion in the high school, emotional edify must be the basic task of the Chinese teaching. Howerer, the current high school Chinese teaching has many practical factors, like the Chinese entrance exam baton, teacher pursuing graduation rates, family’s life benefit, social instant success, because of these effect they generally ignore students’emotional mold. As a result, it forms today’s high school students do not understand the emotion of etiquette, indifferent love, neglect aesthetic appreciation, don’t know gratitude, lack of awe feeling, this behavioral phenomenon is increasingly common. Face with this situation, we must change the status of high school language teaching cognitive, make emotional mold into the Chinese teaching, and constitutes the basic task. High school Chinese teaching must use and combine the subject characteristic, through the method of reading, start writing style and use oral communication macro ideas to cultivate students’ emotion, and eventually use aesthetic methods, to heart than heart method and the method of learning by doing to from students beautiful feelings, love, and ethical emotion.
