This paper contains data of videos which Chinese Women Volleyball Team participated the2010Swiss Female Volleyball Team Elite Competition. After the data analyzing, the data and data analyzing of first attack of teams in the competition provide a strong support for the paper.The literature material method is used to collect literature materials and videos of objects of the study during the early period after which sorting out all the materials in order to prepare for the later research. Video observation is used in the intermediate of research. AVS Video Editor software such as Uleal Ideo Studio can be used for detailed analysis of video materials. The software can divide a second into twenty-four pictures or24frames. That is to say, videos can be accurate to one twenty-fourth second, which gives the research a better accuracy and greater value. Then, as for mathematical methods used in the research, Excel is in usage of analysis of data obtained in the former stage, after which the conclusion is made. In the end, the process of entire research and theories are summarized by using experience summarization method, data analysis and logical analysis so that the reality and reliability of the results and conclusions are insured. Conclusion:In volleyball competitions, it is the flying time of the ball from the first passer to the setter that has an influence on the success rate of fast attack.After the research, success rate is highest when the flying time of the ball from the first passer to the setter is1.07s±0.01s, going down with either decrease or increase of the time.1. In volleyball competitions, the success rate of first attack is crucial for the outcomes. On the purpose of promote the success rate, it is necessary to master the point-in-time,1.07s±0.01s, of flying time of the ball from the first passer to the setter.
