Guided by research achievements of social stratification at home and abroad andcombinded with the survey of ten fishing villages in two towns of Changdao Country,this paper studies the stratification of the marine fishermen group, which takes theannual household income as the main indicator, and its influence factors from aspectsof the individual, family, social relations, policy and environment, on the basis of thegroup’s occupation differentiation in the historical process of social changes. Withfield observation and interview, this paper reseaches the strata consciousnes of themarine fishermen group in depth, including its strata cognition, strata accquiredcognition and strata identity. From these two aspects, this paper finishes the study ofthe sratification of the fishermen group, and makes efforts to surpporting theconstruction of the new socialist fishing village empirically and extending theresearch on the social stratification and marine fishermen group. This study mainlyadopts three kinds of methods to collecting data, which are questionnaire survey,interview and observation, and uses the EXCEL and SPSS18.0statistical software fordata statistics, description, comparison and correlation analysis.This paper mainly includes five parts of contents. The first part is an introduction,including the research background, goals and the significance, domestic and foreignrelated research achievements, methods, hypothesis, innovation and so on. The secondpart is the stratification status of the marine fishermen group and characteristics ofeach strata. This part firstly defines the basic concepts and identifies the connotationand extension of the marine fishermen group. And then combined with the survey, itdescribes the group’s occupation differentiation. Finally, taking the annual householdincome as main indicator, it analyzes the stratification of the group, and eachstratum’s characteristics. The third part mainly analyzes the influence factors of thegroup’s stratification, including factors of individual, family, social relationship,policy and environment. The fourth part studies the marine fishermen group’s strataconsciousnes, including its strata cognition, strata accquired cognition and strataidentity, and through the comparative reseach with the objective stratification,elaborates the significance of the reseach on the subjective recogniton. The fifth partis conclusions, mainly discussing the research hypothesis demonstrated in the firstfew parts. In the historical process of social changes, the occupation of the marinefishermen group is increasingly diversity, which provids the foundation of itseconomic differentiation and stratification. With the comprehensive influence of theindividual, family, social relationship, policy and environment factors, the marinefishermen group stratifies obviously, and each strata’s characteristics have becomeincreasingly obvious. At the same time, the marine fishermen group has recognizedthe stratification within group clearly, and can identify himself as certain strata,although there are obvious differences between the subjective and objectivestratifications, which will influence the marin fishermen group’s social psychologyand emotional.
