The Research Of Function About College Students Associations’ Ideological And Political Education

With the deepening of reform and opening up and the continuous development ofhigher education, the contemporary college students have changed in thoughts,behaviors and other aspects. Traditional ideological and political education as themain carrier class management mode can not effectively meet the needs of theideological and political education work, Ideological and political education is facingnew challenges. Therefore, how to effectively strengthen and improve ideological andpolitical education of college students is to become an urgent task. Students’Associations as an effective means of students’ self-education, self-management andself-service is conducive to enhance the students’ comprehensive qualities andabilities, make students to be talent. It is the new carrier and main front of ideologicaland political. In2005, the document about how to enhance and improve the collegestudent organization regulated by the Ministry of Education the file pointed out thatthe Student association is an innovative and effective access to improve theimplementation quality of education. They play an important role in the form ofconcentrate student to consciousness and political thought of education. Therefore, thestudy of the Political and Ideological Education of Students’ Associations can changethe ideological and political education in time and achieve the goal.Students’ Associations is a voluntary organization, based on common interestsand goals, according to the written regulations. At Present, the reach of function aboutCollege Students Associations’ Ideological and Political Education is still not deepenough and specific, And even has duplication research phenomena. This article startsfrom the Students’ Associations’ theoretical foundation, analyzing the specific contentof the ideological and political education function, and summarizing up theachievements and shortcomings with the actual situation. On this basis, we raised thepath and specific resolutions to realize ideological and political education in collegestudents associations.This article is divided into five parts:The first part introduces the significance of the reach of function about CollegeStudents Associations’ Ideological and Political Education, the current situation athome and abroad, and main research methodology.The second part describes the current definition by experts on College StudentsAssociations’ Ideological, and present new insights; Analysis of the theoretical basisand the specific content of function about College Students Associations’ Ideologicaland Political Education, and we obtain the possibility based on communitycharacteristics.The third part is information on function about College Students Associations’Ideological and Political Education through a survey, including achievement and existing problems, and analysis of restrictive factors.The fourth part is the analyses of achieving the function of ideological andpolitical education in college students associations, including the StudentsAssociations’ principle, management theoretical study and school emphasis.The final part summarizes the contents of this article as well as area to improveand future development.
