On Functions And Related Ways Of College Students Associations' Ideological And Political Education

College students associations are a significant aspect of youth group-living. They are amateur group unions which start from students' common interests,hobbys and strength,adhere to the certain peinciples and purposes,follow the written regulations,meet with the relevant approval and be organized in the form of voluntary. They are the new carrier of students' ideological and political education which plays an indispensable role in college students' ideological and political education.In 2005, the document about strengthening and improving college students' associations which was implemented by the Ministry of Education pointed out college students' association activities are a innovative channel and effective way to put quality education into practice. They play important roles in various aspects,including strengthing cultural construction,improving students' quality,guiding students adjust themselves to society,promoting students to take up occupations. They are effective forms to concentrate students and launch ideological and political education in the new social situation. Therefore,the research on functions and relevant solutions of college students associations' ideological and political education has realistic meanings in taking further steps to strengthen and improve college students associations' ideological and political education.This paper involves different college students associations' characteristics and styles,discusses the ideological and political education functions of college students associations,analyses the factors of ideological and political education's limitation and proposes the basic solutions for college students associations' ideological and political education. In a word, this paper will elaborate in four aspects in great detail as follows.The first part will guide you to have a good grasp of the college students associations' current situation through the introduction of college students associations' characteristics and styles. College students associations' characteristics are mainly reflected that members are mass and unrestricted, activities are spontaneous and independent, group-aims are common and correspondent and their contents are specialized and innovative.
