This paper takes migrant workers who move form rural area as researching subject,and the aim of this paper is to make deep understanding of their living experiences in city,especially how they read their own life and the ideas for future.This paper adopts qualitative research method to obtain fresh information by meansof interviewing workers of Hai Chuan Instrument and Meters Plant.The paper first discusses influence factors of moving decision of migrantindividuals; then it elaborates on their hard and poignant life in city, and simultaneouslyreveals migrant workers’ stubborn and forbearing spirits and their firm faith:"Came outjust never go back to be peasant"; this paper creatively dig and discusses the subtlerelationship between labor and their boss, and demonstrates that the migrant labor is theconscious subject of their career life in city, not the negative object which is purely usedby their boss. This paper also introduces how migrant workers develop happy strategiesindividually, and how they build great and strong supporting source network of intimatepeople who are buckled by geographical and blood relations. However, current socialregime and policy hinder the development of migrant workers in city. Generally speaking,they have comparatively very low level of human capital, as they could hardly enjoyeducation resources of high quality. Consequently, they have few chances of merginginto city mainstream culture and upward mobility.As a “social revolution” started in the bottom of society, the huge rural population’srapid mobility to city reflects the individual and collective desire and struggles of tryingto heal the deep social gap. We could say that their life in city is painful and joyful.
