From farmers’ frenzied hunt for work in cities in the late1980s to shortage offarmer workers, various problems of farmer workers highlight. Migrant workers—thegroup of farmer workers have become an integral part of China’s economic and socialconstruction, and thus the research about migrant workers has become a hot topic insocial sciences. Through interview and observation methods of obtaining the first-hand information, this article is intended to select the migrant worker, who have beensuccessfully integrated into the urban communities, and attempt from the perspectiveof advantages through capital and social networking aspect to explore factorsaffecting their successful integration into the urban communities, such as institutionalfactor, social capital factor, cultural factor and so on. Finally, this article will putforward the institutional and personal suggestions promoting the migrant workers tosuccessfully integrate into urban communities.In the course of research, this article did not fully follow the premise of value-neutral method, and appropriately tend to migrant workers as a part of socialvulnerable group, which reflects theoretical study of social work take responsibilityand care of social realities and extend the social work research methods andtechniques.
