Fully developing students’independency and initiative is one of the core concept of today’s new curriculum reform, so that students can learn independently. Although doing homework plays an important role in teaching, yet traditional concept of homework no longer adapt to the requirements of the new curriculum reform under implementating quality education. Therefore, there are many problems which need to solve urgently, such as how to change the students’status of accepting knowledge passively, and thus learning actively? How to change the traditional concept of homework which is practicing a large amount of exercises? And how to create a homework form which is in line with the spirit of the new curriculum reform?Learned by the scholars at home and abroad, the sample study can greatly arouse students’learning enthusiasm, and can promote students to do effective migration and application over the knowledge which they learned. This study applies samples into homework, selecting specific areas of knowledge-Element in the Family of Materials as the content. Experimental subjects selected is two classes which are at the same level, one class is experimental class (using worked example homework), and another class is control class (using traditional homework), and according to the results of pre-test, the students of two classes are divided into high, medium and low level. It concludes by the initial research on migration score and cognitive load of two classes:1. Worked example homework has the promoting function obviously on the migration of the experimental class students to learn chemical knowledge. By comparing the migration score, we know that regardless of the handed rate, the highest score, lowest score, the average score of the experimental class students are higher than that of the control class, and there exist obviously significant differences between them.2. Worked example homework has different effects on students of different levels. Among them, Worked example homework has the most obvious promotion on the mediate-grouped students in the migration, and followed by low-grouped students, but has no significant role in promoting for the high-grouped students.3. Worked example homework can lower the cognitive load level of the experimental class students significantly. Precisely because the tips of the sample to students as a support role in problem-solving process, the students can make use of stents in a reasonable analogy and migration, so that the students are able to have the learned knowledge migrated and applicated effectively.4. The subject students have a higher mental load level on the learned comprehensive application, but the mental load level of the students of the experimental class is lower than that of the students of the control class. So we can conclude that worked example homework can lower the students’cognitive load level, and have a significant promoting function on the comprehensive application solving.
