By using the method of literature, expert interview method, field investigationmethod, comparison and questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method,the selection of ordinary university in Henan province as the research object, andthrough the ordinary university sports Henan province general class teaching of thepresent situation of the research and found out that sports Henan colleges general courseteaching exists some problems, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.The results of the study show that, Henan college PE teachers’ teachingmanagement cadres and the general education concept of sports understanding ofcomprehensive and profound, teachers teach general education course of sportsenthusiasm generally is not high. Students take sports general class of the motivationmainly has the personal interest, easy credit, curriculum practicability, and work withlike classmates activities. Improper curriculum, more content is the basic technologyand the basic theory, the content of a single, students like sport did not include theteaching content, the lack of contact with other disciplines and integration. Of coursehumanities connotation and education value of the mining is insufficient, students gainis not big, practical, skilled in general course in the course of greater importance. Noform a reasonable evaluation system, teachers are still the sport technology and the finalexamination scores as evaluate students’ sports general elective course grades. Theschool to teacher’s evaluation of teachers’ lack of concern for students’ humanitiescultivated manners, the knowledge structure is perfect, the comprehensive teachingability, and other aspects of the reference. Teaching organization way with traditionalskills or the teaching mode to give priority to, the students’ subject status to werereflected in the teaching practice. Sports facilities can’t meet the students’ sports generalclass of the need, simple old facilities, schools can’t develop students love sports. Sportsgeneral class the teaching to young teachers as the main force, has the knowledge, theability to control the class in high level teacher, professor of lecture very little. Teachingquality is not satisfactory, students to teachers, teaching content and study of the fullharvest attitude is not high.Restrict henan colleges sports general courses teaching factors are old teacherand leadership lack of sports general courses a profound understanding of the value,general courses teaching management loose, teachers’ teaching task, not updating theknowledge, difficult to open a high quality course, course time arrangement andstudents after school activity is in conflict, and the content of teaching and ways oforganizing the public physical education and difference of course humanitiesconnotation and education value mining is insufficient, sports curriculum resourcedevelopment power shortage, and so on. In order to improve henan colleges sports general courses teaching, and puts forward the should change education concept, topromote the all-round development of students as the premise, and to improve thestudents’ physical quality, and make students’ humane quality, scientific spirit, valuesand methodology and practice system comprehensive ability to get training andimproving, set up the special general courses management institution, in each courtyardgeneral education management group was established, establishing the reasonableevaluation system, teaching contents and methods, encourage flexible experiencedteachers of classes, mining the humane connotation of curriculum and the humanitieseducation value countermeasures.
