Pre-school education is the beginning of lifelong learning, is an important part ofthe national education system. With the economic development and the improvement ofpeople’s living standards, the development of pre-school education has become a hottopic in the General demand of the people and the community. Scientific and rationalpre-school education could contribute to the overall development of children all arounddevelopment of moral, life and enables children to develop good study habits, with anathletic figure, form the good will of quality and integrity of character, improve theability of social adaptation function. Preschool physical education is an important partof pre-school education, lack of full physical and mental development of the child hasnot, Preschool physical education is for children were organized in a disciplinedatmosphere conducive to their physical and mental health of collective or individualsports, In such circumstances so that they meet the age characteristics of physicaltraining, And to enable them to participate in sports during the subtle learning ofknowledge, ideas and other aspects of life.The article uses the literature information, questionnaire, the study in the localplace and to interview research present situation and countermeasure of physicaleducation in the west of Hunan province. Including preschool physical education laws,regulations and ordinances; Preschool physical education values of the subject;Preschool physical education teaching staff, time, environment, basic forms andCommunity and family preschool physical education status, and so on. Through thestudy concluded:1. Preschool physical education laws, regulations of the region better,but carrying out inadequate;2. Kindergarten Director, teacher and child care parentspreschool physical education awareness there is a certain amount of deviation;3.Preschool physical education process with the local physical environment, rich content,teaching of histological observation of diverse sports before;4. Facilities of factorsaffected the further development of preschool physical education in the region;5.Preschool physical education in the community and the importance of family and thesituation is not good.For the above conclusions, Improvement of preschool physical education in urbanareas in the West of Hunan province countermeasure and suggestion:1. Clear, detailedrules and regulations, increase the intensity of the implementation;2. Establish andimprove the kindergarten management institutions and systems;3. Combination ofpublic and private, creating a special preschool physical education environment;4.Comprehensively improve the scientific level of kindergarten preschool physicaleducation;5. Promoting the sustainable development of early childhood teachers;6.Establishing kindergartens Trinity preschool physical education system, families and communities.
