With the qualitative method which is widely used in social science research andthe case study, this paper inspects in depth the development of informationizationteaching abilities of pre-service teachers and their informationization teachingpractice through the classroom observation and tracking interview targeted to severalnormal students who get to college in2008of the northwest normal university. Thispaper tries to interpret the influence of the common course “Modern EducationalTechnology” on the development of informationization teaching ability of pre-serviceteachers and the concrete situation of them in the perspective of pre-service teachersso as to explore the development path of informationization teaching ability ofpre-service teachers. This paper is divided into five chapters, details of which are asfollows:The first chapter is the introduction, which elaborates the research backgroundfrom the trend of development of informationization teaching abilities, the curriculumreform of the common course “Modern Educational Technology” of NWNU and thelearning experiences of the researcher, and then puts forwards further the primalproblems, purposes and meanings of this study. Moreover it states the thinking andmethod of this study according to the problems.The second chapter is about the choices of samples and ways of spot access,mainly elaborating ways of the researcher getting access to the spot and the choicemethods of the study samples.The third chapter first reveals the reformation of the common course “ModernEducational Technology” in the perspective of pre-service teachers, and theninvestigates their true attitudes towards this course, and their opinions about theteaching content, teaching methods, teaching resources, evaluation method etc afterreformation together with the reasons. At the same time, this paper finds thepre-service teachers’ abilities on information retrievaling and downloading,web-based autonomous learning, cooperative learning, solving problems in teachingand so on, are improved greatly after the train of the common course “ModernEducational Technology” and get the tendency and consciousness ofinformationization teaching. Furthermore, it also analyzises whether there is anyeffects of other courses on the informationization teaching ability of pre-serviceteachers.The forth chapter presents the process of the instructional design,implementation, reflection of pre-service teachers with keeping track of theeducational practice of pre-service teachers, which reveals that the pre-servicesteachers gain basic informationization teaching abilities and knowledge ofinstructional design which haven’t yet been completely transformed to the relativeabilities, and also have some performing abilities of information teaching togetherwith initial information teaching reflection abilities. Besides, it analyzises if thepractice activities in campus can bring any effects on the informationization teachingability of pre-service teachers.The last chapter is about the conclusion and reflection, which firstly summarizes the research conclusions of this paper and then makes deep reflection from theresearcher identity, research process, research validity, reliability and inferencedegrees etc.
