People began to attach importance on chemistry experiment teaching using such things in life as food and daily necessities since the New Curriculum Reform, and a series of research productions has been emerged. However, there are few essays on how to design and process such experiments, as well there exist many complicate chemical theories and experiences, researches on this kind of experiment teaching must be enhanced on.On the basis of life experiment in chemistry, this essay studied research results of life experiment in chemistry in both China and aboard, and also summarized the definition, characteristics, advantages and applications of such kind of chemical experiment teaching.This paper contains five parts as follows:First, the background, the related research at home and abroad, the content and the procession of the research were described in the preface. In the second part, we reviewed the life experiment in chemistry, defined its representation, and summarized the characteristics and advantages of teaching. In the third part, we generalized five principals of developing this experiment, and according to which we designed six cases. In the fourth part, the writer took some teaching practice with the mode of anchored instruction. In the fifth part, some conclusions and enlightenments have been simply examined.Take the life experiment in chemistry as an entry point, we defined this conception as such kind of chemical experiment, as which starts from the life, cognition and mental of students, as which takes regular instruments and daily necessities as experimental resources, as which uses the manner of observation, hypothesis, experiment and conclusion, as which makes students acquire knowledge, elevate scientific literacy, and settle problems in life with given knowledge. From the basis of theory research, we designed six experiments and got a satisfied result by the mode of anchor instruction and the content of one quiz competition and three experimental activities, which are compare the calories contained in potato chips and non-fried chips, solid alcohol and flame reaction, miraculous paper nappy.The conclusions of this research includes:(1) The life experiment in chemistry plays an important role in stimulating students’interest, solving the practical problem in real life and improving the level of cognition.(2) Scientific, life, interest, concise and safe must be pay attention to the process of design.(3) Lively instructional sense, resources, context, content and mode must be attached importance on the phase of teaching.
