From perspectives of social and sports developmental, the offering of social sportsspecialty help to expand the dimensions of P.E. major. Volleyball Course, as a main course inuniversity social sports specialty system, occupies an important position in social sports.Through volleyball classes, students can master volleyball theory, techniques and skills, andthus gain the spirit of unity and cooperation, and laid the foundation for the organizationalteaching ability and training alone work demanded by later on jobs. As a new emerging major,social sports specialty has confusions for its training target. Its curriculum system is notperfect untill now. As a result, teaching methods, teaching content, teaching means of thevolleyball course in social sports specialty is similar to that of the physical education specialty.The teaching syllabuses and plans are not in uniform among departments of universities,which make the professional training target does not suit graduates’ employment posts andcan not meet the need of modern social development.This research, from different angles of view, using the method of literature, questionnaire,mathematical statistics, logic analysis, conducts objective and deep research on the presentsituation of volleyball course teaching of social sports specialty in Hebei province. The studycovers the course system and teaching conditions (conditions of teachers, teaching content,venues and facilities etc.) the present situation and reform and development. The social sportsprofessional volleyball sports popularization is not ideal in Hebei province at present, morein-depth studies are needed.This article has carried on the comprehensive and objective investigation andresearch.The results showed that:1. The current educational thinking is in accordance with the old education mode, whichmake a certain gap between what students learnt and what society required.2. Generally teachers are weak in understanding the professional nature deeply.3. Curriculum system is not perfect, so it is difficult to complete the teaching goal.4. The teaching content is too complex, method and means old, modern equipments cannot be updated quickly, professional cannot achieve flexible degree, students volleyball skillsand comprehensive qualities can not get very good development. 5. In assessments, the technical aspects accounted for most of the score, lax demand onthe theory. Students cannot get full development of their organizational and integrated ability.6. Textbooks can’t update in time.How to get a sustainable development of volleyball course of social sports specialty tomeet the needs of social development, enlarge employment, reduce social burden. This articlestudies the same problem through a different view of curriculum teaching and tries to providetheoretical support for the benign operation of volleyball course teaching. the articleempahsises that students are the main body, the perfect combination of skills and tacticstheory, improve students’ comprehensive ability of independent innovation, so that they haveentered the social physical education and school education work ability, extend obtainemployment channel, make it adapt to the trend of the times, at the same time provides thebeneficial theory foundation for volleyball teaching in university social sports professional inour province, ensure its sustained and healthy development, so as to promote the developmentof national fitness, so as to realize the sustainable development of sports.
