Research On Taiji Spectrum English Illustration From The Perspective Of Cross-Culture

Wushu which is broad and profound has a long history. Taijiquan, born on the fertile soilof China, is not only an exercise but also carries traditional Chinese culture inheritance aswell as the quintessence of culture. It has close relationships with eastern philosophy,medicine, mechanics, aesthetics and strategics. Contained in the rich taiji culture, the taijiquanspectrum is the soul of taiji and the skills summary of practice main points, taiji theories andtechniques as well as combat skills. Otherwise, the taijiquan spectrum guides right study andpractice of taijiquan. In order to better study taijiquan, theoretical levels should be improved,so that promotes perfect combination of theory and practice, and the level of taijiquan. Inrecent years, taiji becomes one of the most popular martial arts, which is loved by allcountries’lovers, and taiji teams are gtting larger and larger. In order to make taiji culturebetter spread, develop and expand Chinese wushu as well as promote traditional Chineseculture and world culture integration, taiji translation is necessary. This thesis has been writtenwith the research object of taijiquan spectrum from cross-culture perspective.In the research methods, the document literature method was first used. Through theNational Library of China, Hebei Province Library and Hebei Normal University Library,relevant books were consulted. Through CNKI and Google electronic books, relevant martialarts translation literatures were consulted, too. Then the collected documents and literatureswere cleared up, summarized and analyzed. Meanwhile, seek advices from relevant Taijiexperts, master key parts of the taijiquan spectrum to provide reliable guarantee of paperwriting. Finally, use logic analysis method to analyze the taijiquan spectrum and summarizekey points of taiji translation. There are mainly three categories of philosophy connotationwords, action name terms and push hands skills and principles sentences. According todifferent categories, the paper was formed by means of translation from the perspective ofcross-culture, analyzing internal relations of taiji culture and western culture.The innovation of this thesis lies in the classification of the taiji spectrum contents.According to different categories, the relevance theory of translation has been used tounderstand taiji culture with the aid of translation bridge through the western culturalperspective. In the taijiquan spectrum, use the thoughts that God creates everything, act psychologyand the law of unity and oppositeness to translate and understand the philosophy connotationwords. Use reception aesthetic ideas and the contradictory principal aspect to comprehendaction name terms. And use lever principle, equilibrium principle, spring principle, Newton’slaws of actions, reflex law and the law of quantitative and qualitative changes to study pushhands skills and principles sentences. Through the specific western cultural view, try toconstruct the bridge linked with taiji culture and furthest comprehend taiji culture.
