The Method To Generate Personalized Network Course Based On LOM

With the popularization of educational information and network technology,E-learning has become an important form of education. Learning source is a key factorof the E-learning development, especially course. At present, the developments ofnetwork course lack accurate search of resources and personalized generate of networkcourse. So it is very important to research personalization in network course.This paper proposes taking oriented learning objects method to design anddevelop course, mainly solved according to the characteristics of different students tochoose corresponding different standard learning resources. First, this paper discusseswhat learning object is, so ascertain learning object particle size is basic step of designand develop personalized course. Secondly, this paper introduces metadata standards oflearning object. We adopt IEEE LOM to describe learning object, which providestechnical support for finding resources and enhances the property of learning objectcan be found. Thirdly, taking an example of the “computer application basis”, we putforward the organization method and metadata description of curriculum resources.Through the modeling method, we respectively construct the student’s interest vectormodel and the learning resource’s vector model, and calculate the similarity of the twomodels. We can achieve the precise search and improve the matching accuracy oflearning resources through the similarity of the two models. Finally, personalizednetwork course is generated. Compared with the traditional method of coursedevelopment, this can improve the generating efficiency and accuracy of personalizedcourse, and assure the sharing of curriculum resources.AS to the problem of course customization, the paper analyzes the shortcomingsof resource management and find in existing research, proposes the standardization ofresources based on LOM, designs and implements a resource matching model in thereference of information retrieval. So the generation of personalized curriculum ismore efficient.
