Study On The Deviations From College Students’ Value Orientation And The Countermeasures

College students are valuable human resources of the country, is the hope of the nation, the future of the motherland. They bear people’s great trust and the historic responsibility. In order to make college students to be qualified builders and successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics, high morality and science qualities should be required. Moreover, guiding them to build up core values of socialism was one of effective solutions. In this work, the current situation of the college’s value orientation was mainly investigated in the following three aspects:life, morality and study. Moreover, the deep-seated reasons, related to domestic and foreign new situation, such as globalization, transformations of society, development in higher education and problems in family were analyzed. According to the results, some countermeasures were provided. For instance, education contents in colleges should be improved, education methods should be innovated, education system should be reformed, social morality should be optimized, and comprehensive qualities of the college students should be enhanced. More specifically, some education on good sides such as socialism core values, collectivism, sense of social responsibility, integrity, competitiveness, hard work and plain living and frustration should be concentrated in all colleges. Furthermore, general education, practices, qualities of teaching and integration of all educational resources should also be focused. In addition, studies, communist party and folkway styles on campus should be optimized, and some abilities of college students such as self-study, self-control, practices, innovations and adaptations should be developed. All endeavors were aim to enhance college students’ consciousness and to help them to be talents.
