| Mathematical numeracy is one of the core qualities of mathematics that junior high school students should have.The level of numeracy affects the development of students’ other mathematical abilities.In view of the relatively weak numeracy ability of junior high school students,This article attempts to analyze and give corresponding countermeasures.First,the junior high school students numeracy abikity was test,and it was foud that the current junior high school students’ numeracy ability is relatively weak.Then through the student numeracy ability questionnaire survey and teacher interviews,the factors that affect the improvement of student numeracy ability were analyzed from the perspectives of students,teachers,and the environment.students do not attach importance to mathematical operations,lacking of operational learning methods,interest in operational learning,proper motivation for operational learning,firm learning willpower,effective reflection,awareness of accumulating operational experience,numeracy habits,differences in cognitive structure,good quality of mathematical thinking,interference of set thinking,and basic computing skills,etc.Meanwhile,teachers may lack of professional knowledge,professional skills,overemphasizing on exams.Teaching environment is also of great significance,such as the arrangement of teaching time,teaching materials,and the influence of various reference materials and calculators,Whether students participate in tutoring classes aslo matters.Next,according to the reasons for the weak numeracy ability of junior high school students,combined with my own teaching practices,measures to improve the numeracy ability of junior high school students would be provided.Teachers will be suggested to pay attention to the changes of students psychological emotions,establish the awareness of cultivating students numeracy ability to enjoy the fun of it,pay attention to practicing basic knowledge,strengthen the training of examination questions,teach the skills of mental calculation and clever calculation,teach students according to their aptitude,make good use of the scattered time in the classroom,to train the skills scientifically,reasonablely,systematically and effectively.On the other hand,the studensts should recognize the importance of improving numeracy ability,cultivate learning patience,hone self-will,cultivate good mathematical computing habits,pay attention to the basic understanding of knowledge generation process,and master mathematical thinking methods.Finally,the countermeasures proposed in this article are used in teaching experiments to further verify effectiveness,which are further supported by comparing the average and standard deviation of the numeracy ability of the experimental groups and the control groups before and after the experiment,and using spss to conduct independent sample T test from the perspective of variance The effectiveness. |
