Study On The Effect Of Mutual Help Behavior On Learners’ Knowledge Construciton In Computer-supported Collaborative Learning

As the rapid development of educational technology applications in a network environment, the computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL) is becoming a hot area of research topics in educational technology. The research about learners and their mutual behavior has been concerned by many people. Basing on the previous research, the authors take the relationship between learners’knowledge construction and their mutual behavior as the key point to get a advanced exploration.CSCL is a form of collaborative learning group in the network environment. The mutual helping behavior play an important role in the learning process. Learners should improve their knowledge construction level in any form of learning. So the research of the impact upon knowledge construction became the focus of our attention and my dissertation.First, this study gave a deep analysis of relevant information home and abroad. It gave an introduction of the research background and significance, the theoretical foundation and the application of mutual help behavior. Then, based on the sufficient theoretical research and taking the survey research approach the study got information about the group under study in the CSCL. This gave an sufficient content supporting to the study. The study took the content analysis approach to give an analysis about the relevant data from the network learning forum of CSCL environment. This gave an accurate data supporting the study. The study also took the social network analysis approach to give an overall network analyses in the CSCL. This laid a solid foundation for drawing a conclusion to the research. Finally, based on the data analyses and research results summarizing, the study brought recommendations to the future research. This article got the conclusion from the theoretical research and data analyses. It gave a thorough analysis to the learners’knowledge construction in the mutual help behavior of CSCL.
