In recent years, inquiry learning and collaborative learning become hot issues in the curriculum reform. After summarization of the relevant studies about inquiry learning in CSCL environment and investigation of the status of university inquiry learning platforms, this paper selected collaborative inquiry learning to research. On the one hand, the relevant researches of computer-supported collaborative research study are limited, especially on university physics teaching. On the other hand, the existing platforms, which have been restricted by the class action, can not be directly used in teaching and have poor learning effect. The purpose of this paper is that providing feasible plans for the implementation of research study in basic courses colleges and universities to strengthen the teacher-student interaction and solve the research-based learning problems. In Chapter II, the thesis group dynamics theory, hierarchy of needs theory, humanistic and constructivist learning theory point of view, as well as the revelation to collaborative inquiry study been summarized. In Chapter III, the overall structure of the platform model been designed included the development environment, purpose, user group through analysis of learners characteristics, teachers characteristics and college physics courses. The system structure, function and whiteboard graphics rendering platform in terms of the principle tool for whiteboard been introduced in detail. Collaborative inquiry study patterns were summarized first in Chapter IV. In this chapter, CSCL learning process, learning strategies, learning evaluation and learning situation are designed. Chapter V demonstrated the teaching application and evaluation of teaching effects about "thermodynamic base" in university physics in terms of themes and PBL issues. Finally, a summary of this research and reflection of inadequacies are discussed.
