With the accelerating economic globalization, introducing foreign advanced science and technology is an important approach to improve our scientific and technological level now.But,in the field which matters the people’s livelihood and the state security,some core technology matters much cannot be used for reference. In the intense competition between countries,our capability of independent innovation is of great significant to our national rise. Colleges and universities are the first intellectual resources in our capability of independent innovation,They are principal forces in improving our science and technology competitiveness.Besides,the capability of independent innovation in colleges and universities is one system engineering which based on the discipline.So,we should make the transform in the discipline as the main line and carry forward the intersection fusion in the discipline.In today’s conditions, Disciplinary Convergence has become one of the important process direction in the development of disciplinary. The studies that how to make the scholars with different research backgrounds to work together,work for maximum effectiveness,solving the increasing complexity of technology problem together, have become an important research field. Looking up in the materials now available, almost the whole driving mechanism of Disciplinary Convergence concentrate on the external task pull or the administrative power promote. But in this paper, we think internal causes play the most important part in an organization growth. We prefer that discipline organizations should be characterized with ecology and have their own development paradigm. So we intend to proceed with the impulse of survival and development of the disciplinary itself, discuss the inherent driving mechanism of Disciplinary Convergence.The research closely around the relationship between discipline organizations. Making the Population Ecology Theory provides the primary theoretical guidance for the research of the the relationship between discipline organizations. Dividing the relationship between discipline organizations into four parts, Subject competition, Subject parasitic, Subject symbiosis and Subject prey on. Via the bounded variable-isciplinary niche, respectively discussing the relationship between subject variables and Disciplinary Convergence under the four kinds of relations. Taking root the key factors that are referd to in available researches and combine the four variable quantities of Disciplinary Convergence, forming a pattern that matters the four variable quantities of Disciplinary Convergence and Disciplinary Convergence at last.In the next step,we choose universities who are willing and capable in developing Disciplinary Convergence to conduct an investigation. Main Emphasis testing and verifying the model in reality.The results stands for our suppose. Finally,the model will be calibration adjusted.
