The complexity of Ideological and Political Eduction makes its interdisciplinary studybecome a very important way. Need Theory is one of the important programs on Philosophyand Social Psychology. There is an inner consistency between Need Theory and Ideologicaland Political Education. This paper refering to the foundation of Ideological and PoliticalEducational research accomplishment, trys to study the Need Theory of Ideological andPolitical Eduction from interdisciplinary perspective, analyze its characteristics, summarizethe effects interdisciplinary Need Theory makes on the Need Theory of Ideological andPolitical Eduction.The whole paper is devided into three parts, summarize the interdisciplinary NeedTheory, analyze the relativity of Need Theory and Ideological and Political Eduction, in orderto enhance the view of Ideological and Political Eduction, expansive its approach andimprove its teaching methods.The first part: Summarize the interdisciplinary Need Theory. It’s the premise of thispaper. This part includs, The Need Theory of Karl Marx, The Need Theory of AbrahamMaslow, The Need Theory of Clayton Alderfer, The Need Theory of Kurt Lewin, The NeedTheory of Sigmund Freud, The Need Theory of David McClelland, The Need Theory ofHerbert Marcuse and The Need Theory of Erich Fromm.The second part: The characteristics of Need Theory in Ideological and PoliticalEduction. It’s the basis of this paper. Need is an eternal topic between human people and thesociety, and the object of Ideological and Political Eduction is human people, so Need Theoryand Ideological and Political Eduction has inner consistency. Analyze the characteristics ofNeed Theory in Ideological and Political Eduction, which is the important basis on the nextstudy about the effects interdisciplinary Need Theory makes on the Need Theory ofIdeological and Political Eduction. This part includs, the connotation of Need Theory inIdeological and Political Eduction, the feature of Need Theory in Ideological and PoliticalEduction, the function of Need Theory in Ideological and Political Eduction, the shortage of Need Theory in Ideological and Political Eduction.The third part: The effects interdisciplinary Need Theory makes on the Need Theory ofIdeological and Political Eduction. It’s the core of this paper. Base on the previous parts,using interdisciplinary Need Theory to strengthen the theoretical study of Ideological andPolitical Eduction. This part includs, the effects of enhancing the view of Ideological andPolitical Eduction, expansiving its approach and improving its teaching methods.This paper take the document analysis method, the logical analysis method and thebenchmarking analysis method to study. And in comparison with the former study, this paperintroduces more interdisciplinary Need Theory to analyze Need Theory in Ideological andPolitical Eduction.
