As a new media, micro-blog opens a new time for record and communication at all times and places, which stands for the appearance of’We-media Time’and deeply affects the way of living and habits. Especially, micro-blog meets the needs of college student’s attention to the society, their personal development and ideological communications with others. Because of its rich information and convenient communicational way, it becomes a new channel to college students and get the favour of the majority of students soon. However, the college ideological and political education has not made full use of micro-blog yet at present. The use of micro-blog is still in a state of students spontaneity and counselor autonomy, not forming a resultant force and occupying the main battlefield of micro-blog well. Of course, micro-blog brings some challenges to students’ideology and morality, values, leaning phenomenon, and their habits inveitably. In response, we should follow the developing tendency, meanwhile, finding out how to turn adversities into opportunities and how to introduce the micro-blog into the medium of the college ideological and political education, in order to grasp and guide the students’ ideological tendencies. Then, we can further strengthen the pertinencyn of the ideological and political educations in colleges and universities and find the point-cut of ideological and political educations. This will be a multi-angle, multi-area and far-reaching influence scientific research.The paper firstly discusses micro-blog, the college ideological and political educations and the medium. It uses the questionnaire research to know well about the present conditions of the college students’ familiar and application to the micro-blog. Furthermore, we’d better combine the micro-blog with other medium of the ideological and political educations. At last, we ought to take active methods to improve the operating mechanism of the ideological and political educations in colleges and universities under the circumstances of the widespread of micro-blog from three kinds of mechanism, that is, security mechanism, organization mechanism, and encouragement mechanism in order to do comprehensive and systematic security work for bringing micro-blog in the application of the medium of the ideological and political educations. And then, we can strengthen the pertinency and effectiveness of the ideological and political educations in colleges and universities.
