The flow population as an important parts of China’s total population, whichdirectly affects the total population. And it is crucial for the development of China’ssocial, economic and cultural. In the field of Data Mining, Logistic Regression Analysisis an important research topic and it is mainly used to study the relationship betweenvariables and by more than one among variables. Logistic Regression Analysis makesup and expands the problem of Multivariate Regression Analysis which is suitable forthe analysis of the dependent variable with the nominal variable problem. Therefore,Logistic Regression Analysis has been widely used in social science research. Theapplication of Logistic Regression Analysis bring into the fluid population researchfield, which can decide on the effects of floating population in some behavioralfactors and influence degree and mining the key factors of them. It is of great help tothe management and in control of floating population.Most of the studies about the characteristics of floating population are a singledimension analysis. They simply analyses a structure of floating population, insteadof a comprehensive analysis. Research using Data Mining for demographiccharacteristics is relatively small while the study using Logistic Regression Analysis forthe demographic characteristics is less.In this paper, from the reason of floating population’s point of view, trying toexplore the factors affecting flow causes from the sixth census data and the influencefactors. In order to reach the aim of study, this paper designs two schemes. The firstscheme is the classification of the original population census of all leave thehousehold registration into the regression model. And I found that the results of themodel are more conducive to the data scale in floating reasons, even causes somedata flow of small scale will be ignored. Therefore, the design of a second program isremove the biggest flow reason from the first model and analyses the factorsinfluencing the flow of surplus. Because the flow causes the remaining data distribution is uniform, so we can put a model analysis.The study found, in the aspect of the inflow characteristics of population inChina, the population of Pyramid belongs to the stability of partial growth. But thereis a big difference in gender, age, causes of the flow, flow time, educational level andresidence properties. Among them, the male was more than female, the age ismainly young people, the main flow reasons is for work or business, the flow of timeis short flow, level of education is mainly in the middle and high school level,household nature is mainly agricultural registered permanent residence. In theaspect of factors affecting flow causes, gender, age, household nature and educationwork to mobilize to relatives and friends, removal and effect of mail accounts linkedthe same trend but the impact is different. Gender and age effect on workers orbusiness and training have the same influence trend. However, the impact ofhousehold nature and level of education to them are on the contrary.
