The Quantitative Analysis On The Current Situation And Characteristics Of Inflow Of Population In Changchun-Jilin-Tumen Pilot Zone

On August30,2009the State Council approved the" Chinese Tumen river area jointdevelopment program compendium--Chang-Ji-Tu development and opening up pilotarea",from then on, the development of economic and social aspects inChangchun-Jilin-Tumen has played an important role to attract foreign population to flow into.According to the monitoring data of the floating population management station in JilinProvince,in2010the number of inflow of population was189586. It shows that the populationof this community is an indispensable organic component for economic and socialdevelopment in Chang-Ji-Tu pilot zone. And its development condition will have direct effectson the construction of harmonious society in Chang-Ji-Tu zone and the grand goal to constructthe well-off society.Based on the background of construction in Chang-Ji-Tu pilot zone and the maininvestigation content in questionnaire of Chang-Ji-Tu pilot zone influx of populationinformation collection, this paper procees with the current situation of the population inChang-Ji-Tu pilot zone, enumerates the main characteristics of inflow of population inforerunner area, finally summarizes the problems and puts forward some countermeasures toganrantee the development needs of inflow of population, and provide some reference for therelevant departments to solve the population problems.The first part of this paper elaborates the research background and the researchsignificance for Jilin Province, the northeast and the whole China. This part describes themethods and data sources, research content, innovations and deficiencies. Related concepts areexplained and defined, the migration theory is expounded. At the same time, the literatureabout domestic floating population is systematically reviewed and summarized. We found that,at present,the study for the pilot area is only a few.The second part elaborates the change of total population and inflow of population in thecities of Changchun,Jilin and Yanbian. It introduces the basic information which was collectedfrom questionnaires and has a descriptive analysis for the age and gender of inflow ofpopulation, level of education, employment, social security, housing and so on.The third part analyzes the main features of the pilot zone: sociological features ofpopulation, the low proportion of newly born persons,the large numuber of married pepole andsome characteristics of education.On employment,population of signing the labor contractsand the rate on-the-job training is low, working overtime phenomenon exists generally.On thelevel of satisfaction,the inflow of population has higher satisfaction with life, and it applies oftwo Logistic classification regression, analyzing the relevant factors for the life satisfaction.From the view of the present situation and the characteristic in pilot zone,the fourth partof this article analyzes its problems and gives countermeasure suggestion to solve theseproblems and promote the development in pilot area. The fifth part of this paper is to summarize the whole content and pointe out the defects ofthe study.
