The chemistry exercise, an important component of the chemistry book, plays a very important role in students’chemistry learning and practicing. It is the prime condition to make sure that the chemistry exercise is scientific, if you want the chemistry exercise to play its function and role.The study dealt with not only the chemistry exercise’s scientific of the middle school but also its influence factors. In addition, the study worked for the action and value of the hand-held technology in improving the scientific research of the chemistry exercise. And the study mainly composed of two parts, i.e, theory and practice.In theory, first, I analyzed the research situation at home and abroad, gave definitions, analyzed the mainly influence factors of the scientific of the chemistry exercise of the middle school. In practice, nine chemical experiments which were designed with the hand-held technology and the effects of hand-held technology in the scientific study were analyzed.The conclusions of this research in theory includes:The scientific of the chemistry exercise refers to the coincidence degree between exercise and discipline, teaching and cognitive law. And the factors belong to two categories:stages of knowledge and acceptability of teaching.The former reflects the constraint from knowledge nature and structure of chemistry to the scientific of the exercise. And the latter reflects the standard of the teaching principles and students’cognitive law for the scientific of the exercise. It was found that the high sensitivity and resolution, controllable acquisition rate, data visualization and powerful data analysis software of hand-held technology can support the scientific study of the high school chemical exercise.In practice, nine chemical experiments prove that the hand-held technology can be used to show some exercises’drawbacks, achieve the image exercises visualized, and help the traditional qualitative experiments to be quantitative and perspicuous.Also, some chemical experiments with the hand-held technology can help to verify the theory that structure determines nature.The conclusions of this research in practice includes:The hand-held technology can be used to judge the scientificalness of the chemistry exercises, overcome the contradiction between the exercise scientificalness and stages of knowledge as well as acceptability of teaching, and help the students to understand the knowledge involved the exercise well. So all the characteristics above can be applied to raise the scientificalness of the exercise during the exercises are being designed and teaching.Literature study, action study and other research methods are adopted in this article.
