Objective:This thesis aimed at studying physical status of adults aged20to39in Taizhou; analysis impact factors; research improvement measures. Methods:Literature, field test, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and logical analysis. Results:1) The physical status of adults aged20~39in Taizhou reached2cd level; compared to2010National Physical Fitness Test, qualified rate is higher. Score and excellent rate of adults aged30~34is higher.2) Men’s weight, BMI (Body Mass Index), WHR (Waist-to-Hip Ratio) rise after25-year-old. Their blood press, grip strength increase after30-year-old; Height, vital capacity, balance, reaction, upper arm, chest endurance decrease after35-year-old. Women’s BMI, WHR, upper body strength increase, waist muscle strength decrease after30-year-old; Chest circumference, systolic blood press increase; vital capacity, balance, flexibility, responsiveness, lower limb explosive decline after35-year-old. Score and excellent rate of adults aged25~29is lower. Response is slow; male F%(Fat percent) high, flexibility weak; systolic blood pressure low; female heart rate fast; lung capacity small, strength weak. Their habit is poor.3) Urban manual workers’ physical fitness score and excellent rate are high, failure rate is low; failure rate of non-manual workers is highest; farmers’ physical score lowest. Women’s physique score is high; their balance, flexibility better; response slow; blood pressure, lung capacity and strength small; life style better.4) Those with high level of physical activity have low pressure, and feel better; those with medium level have excellent physique.5) BMI, WHR, and FP%has significant linear correlation; evaluation by BMI, men aged25~39, male farmers and urban non-manual overweight; by WHR, male aged35~39abdominal obesity; by FP%,25to29-year-old female and male farmers overweight, female farmers obese. Conclusions and recommendations:1) Adults aged25~29need to develop good habit and exercise more.2) Adults after25-year-old need control weight. Adults after35-year-old should strengthen the balance, flexibility, strength, vital capacity and responsiveness training. Non-manual workers need strengthen exercise of power quality and farmers increase reaction, balance, power and endurance training.3) National Physical Fitness Evaluation need more comprehensive survey, should add content as psychological.4) Adults aged30to34, men and urban non-manual workers need increase physical activity.5) Farmers exercise less; suggestion is increase nutrition information and sports facilities in rural areas.
