The network ideological and political education is an political, policy-related, professional and skillful system. Trying to explore the law of political education and enhance its effectiveness is both a task and a problem to be solved in order to further improve the college ideological and political education on the internet with substantial development.Apart from the introduction and conclusion parts this passage mainly includes four parts.The first part is to introduce the basic connotation of the network ideological and political education at the colleges and universities in China. College students’network ideological and political education is to take the undergraduates as the main receiver and participant, using current network technology to work comprehensively, exploring the scope and content of the network ideological and political education and finally forming the good way of innovation. The basic components include the education of ideological and political, outlook on life, ethics and morals as well as culture. The elemental form include autonomous, participant and select style.The second part analyses the effectiveness of the network ideological and political education. Based on the general principles of effectiveness the passage holds that the effectiveness of the network ideological and political education is an effective and interactive process which makes network influence education by dealing the relationship among educator, objector, content, methods and environment in order to realize educational purpose and achieve educational effect. The passage refers to the transverse and longitudinal basic indexes of effectiveness evaluation. The transverse evaluation index reflects the educational effect and the detail content. The longitudinal evaluation index is aimed at the depth of the evaluation educational effect. The network ideological and political education has both the positive and negative effect.The third part analyses the sufficient performance and its reason of the network ideological and political education at colleges and universities. The sufficient performance mainly reflected by the boring content, dull form, slow update, low-rate click, and also the lack of attraction, appetency and guiding force. The reasons are as follows. Some social negative mentality affects the college students’requirement of The network ideological and political education; the traditional education concept can’t adapt to the psychological characteristics of the cotemporary college students who live in the network era; Teachers’participation is unsufficient; and the techniques and managements of the network education are relatively backward.The fourth part puts forward the basic strategy of strengthening effectiveness of the network ideological and political education. To improve the network ideological and political education we should make various efforts to integrate education resources, elaborately design teaching content, provide security by cooperation and management, strengthen the ethic education, seize the mentality of the college student when they are surfing on the internet, accelerate carrier construction and promote the normalization and renewal of The network ideological and political education.
