In vocational education, a vocational preparatory education, knowledge storage andskills to strengthen education for student employment. In vocational education from theoutset with utilitarian color: great importance to skills training and contempt humanisticupbringing. In language teaching: as the language of the basic course, the class was cutby nearly a third; language instruction, the additional number of practical writingwriting training. Language education neglected the quality of secondary vocationalstudents’ language, the humanities are increasingly weakening. Functional languagessuch education status quo, the paper argues that in vocational language teaching literaryeducation should be strengthened. Literary education to enable students to improvestudents ’language arts on the basis of access to common-sense knowledge of thelanguage, the ability to enhance their perception of life, improve the student’spersonality, and improve ideological and moral cultivation and aesthetic appeal, andultimately improve students’ language ability.This article three aspects specifically addressed the status of literary education invocational language teaching:(a) of the quick success in serving language: in thefunctional language in which embarrassing realm of literary education in languageteaching to be diluted, few people mentioned.(B) factors from the impact of theeducational effect of functional language literature, described in the functional languageliterature the effect of education is almost disappeared. The factors include: lack ofknowledge of vocational students, rigid classroom teaching, language teachers, literaryaccomplishment and low.(C) the traditional concept of vocational students, ignoring thestudy of literature.Emphasis in vocational language teaching should be to strengthen the reality andnecessity of literary education. Mainly from four aspects of discourse, including:(a)from the universal quality education point of view, vocational and technical schools cannot simply put students develop the skills machine ", but to them to develop into acomprehensive development.(B) the employer from the knowledge economyenvironment, the demand for employees point of view shows that, important asprofessional skills, but the quality of professional ethics enterprise is more important inthe professional quality of the vocational students unsatisfactory.(C) from the perspective of the student health psychology, personality development, literature,education and plays an essential role in healthy personality.(D)"lifelong learning" therequirements of vocational students in the stage of basic education to lay the foundationto better prepare for the post after the literary education of all abilities to developpossible.From the excavation of teaching materials, classroom art, focusing on the constructionof the hidden curriculum to explore ways and means to strengthen the literary educationin vocational language:(a) increasing the proportion of the literature class in Chineselanguage teaching, develop school-based teaching materials to reflect the teachingcharacteristics.(B) classroom teaching is the main positions of literary education, andefforts to create a scene, pay attention to the art of teaching, increase the students’speaking and writing practice training.(C) Strengthening the construction of the hiddencurriculum, environment silent educating people.
