Teaching under the guidance of the Constructivism teaching theory fits the currentnew course reform. Therefore, the application of Constructivism theory to guiding thebuilding of some teaching links is necessary.Much class practice in senior chemistry teaching cannot be understood andeffectively applied, even resulting in chemistry teaching difficulties. In senior chemistryteaching in our country, practice has become one of the relative weak links. Comparedto the" inefficient practice" and" invalid practice", effective practice was proposed.At present, there aren’t many researches on effective practice based on the theoryof Constructivism and practice problem has not caused enough attention in the theorycircle. But we can also feel it has aroused more and more interest from the accessibledocuments and teaching practice. Although there have been some discussions about thisproblem, research or demonstration on the relationship between the effective practiceways and senior chemistry teaching is not enough.Effective practice designed according to the theory of Constructivism cansignificantly improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching. In this paper, the ways ofdocument analysis, investigation and experiment are used to study effective practice intheory and practice.This article compares and analyzes the design of the United States and Japan seniormiddle school chemistry exercises in the textbook, and it also absorbs the advantage ofclassroom practice design from the United States and Japan, forming the nextexperiment scheme. Based on the research and analysis above, the article seeks andexplores the basic principle of designing effective practice in senior chemistry teaching,and as well puts forward the basic strategy of implementing effective practice in thesenior chemistry teaching: practice content closely target, the diversification of practice,the independence of practice process, practice subject matter from life, practice processof multiple evaluation.Finally, according to the design principle, strategy study, a survey questionnaireand the analysis of students’ grades in chemistry. The writer draws the conclusionthrough comparison and analysis: the effective practice designed according to the theoryof Constructivism can improve the teaching quality of chemistry in senior middleschool, and can also obtain the affirmation and praise from teachers and students,promoting the implementation of the new curriculum reform and students’ ability development.Depending on the theory of Constructivism, considering the situation of ourcountry senior middle school chemistry classroom teaching, the article is expected toprovide possible reference and guidance for teachers and students in senior middleschool chemistry teaching and give enlightenment to the new chemical curriculumreform. Because of the limit of researcher’s level and research time, the conclusion ofthis study still needs further inspection.
