Nowadays, the society needs various compound talents. In our country, traditional reception teaching model fit for the comprehensive learning within unit time, unfit for the cultivation of students' abilities, especially the ability of innovation. The inquiry teaching model is a very important part in the new curriculum which fit for the cultivation and drilling of students' abilities, unfit for the comprehensive learning and construction of part knowledge. Knowledge and experience, no matter acquired through reception teaching model or inquiry teaching model, must be associated with the quondam cognition framework of the corresponding individuals. Otherwise, the learning will be meaningless. The constructivism emphasizes that every learner should construct their knowledge by the unique experience which is made by the interactive roles between the world and themselves, not emphasizes the transmission of knowledge. Therefore, through actualizing the models of chemistry teaching based on constructivism in the new curriculum not only lets students master knowledge as soon as possible, but also effective cultivates students' the abilities of cooperation and inquiry and innovation.With the theory of curriculum and the characteristic of chemistry subject, the research brings forward the character and principle of models of chemistry teaching.Following its historical route on the base of a great deal of material, the research introduces the philosophic origin and psychological foundation of constructivism, and analyses several genre of constructivism, and concludes the viewpoint of knowledge and learning and curriculum and teaching and evaluation, and brief introduces the inscape of the constructivism and the condition of realization.In the research, the content of chemistry consists of chemical theory, experiment inquiry and social life of chemistry. The research constructs three models of chemistry teaching based on constructivism which consists of teaching models of chemical theory and experimental research and social life, and analyses the tendency of target and the procedure of operation and the strategy of teaching and the estimate of effect of the three models of teaching.The research discusses the effect of chemical teaching models based on constructivism by practice in chemical teaching for a unit. We have a quasi-experimental research bases the different teaching content. The result is that models of chemistry teaching based on constructivism strengthen students' learning interest, learning attitude, makes cooperation and inquiry and creation as one part of learning abilities, and it promotes the advancement of learning achievement. To improve the applicability of chemical teaching models based on constructivism, the research summarizes acquired production through actualize teaching models, and analyzes existent problem from the angle of students, teachers and models itself, and brings forward some advice and countermeasure to actualize teaching models.
