The Study On Screen Culture Exerts On College Students Value Outlook

Based on the empirical investigations and taking two institutions of higher education in Zunyi as research object, the writer makes a study of the college students’value by questionnaires and interviews. It mainly analyzes influences which the screen culture exerts on college students’value outlook on politics, on life, on marriage, on moral and on profession. The study finds out that the screen culture has dual influence on their five values. That is to say, it not only exerts positive effects, but negative influences as well which tend to expand unless active measures are adopted. In this regard, from college students’ personal level, we should improve their esthetic ability and enhance their awareness of self-cultivation. Form the perspective of colleges; we need to perfect the navigational system of the screen culture on campus. To be specific, on the one hand, we should to cultivate more ideological and political educators who are adept in the utilization of the film and television media. On the other hand, the hardware construction on campus should be strengthened. In addition, it is necessary to reinforce the aesthetic education and artistic appreciation among college students. Form the perspective of the government, its supervision and administration in terms of film and television should be strengthened. In the meanwhile, the government ought to cleanse the content of medium as well as reinforce its legal supervision and punishment in popular culture. In short, with the joint efforts of the individual, the college and the government, it will form an effective interaction mechanism, which is beneficial to carry out the education of college students’value outlook on politics, on life, on marriage, on moral and on profession effectively in terms of screen culture.
